The CASTELLAN is the governor, the guardian, the one who watches over the castle. The term “castellan” was first used in the 14th century. The role of the castellan was to protect the castle and its lands and attend to the domestic staff. The responsibility applied even where there was no residents at the castle or if they were frequently absent.

That’s exactly what we do at Castellan Sitters.
When you are away, we watch over your “castle”, care for your property and tend to your pets.
